Covenco's Fixed Site Recovery Solution mitigates against the risk of the sort of disaster that could affect a client's primary operating site. Disasters within this category tend to be non-technical in nature and due to beyond-control events such as fire, flood, denial of access, major power loss, sabotage or theft. When Fixed Site Recovery is invoked the client will dispatch their backup media to a Covenco Recovery Centre. Here our recovery specialists will conduct the restoration of the backup media on to IT equipment located at the centre and ensure that end users can access the restored systems remotely.
As standard this solution provides:
- Appropriate equipment, assigned for your use, at a designated Covenco Recovery Centre
- Equipment available to commence restoration of backup media within 4 hours
- Full technical assistance by Covenco's skilled recovery specialists
- 13 weeks invocation period (with no additional charge)
- Annual test/rehearsal of the solution
