Typical engagement scenarios:

• Design of Backup & DR architectures for a multi-site organisation with 45 offices spread all over the UK & Ireland; the requirements are best described as N:1:1.  In this instance the customer had a requirement to backup remote sites to a corporate head office, and then replicate the local ‘Vault’ to an off-site DR facility, with an expectation for provision of more conventional DR services.  The customer required BMR for selected servers, local backup Vaults at selected sites for LAN speed recovery and centralised management of the entire estate. 
• Where customers do NOT have a secondary location as a potential DR site and need to have the reassurance that their data can be replicated to a secure DR environment, which has generous bandwidth, standby generators, and all of the facilities and services  that they would associate with a professional Disaster Recovery provider.  Such a discussion would potentially call for a scale of SLAs that can only be provided by a DR provider.
• Similarly for organisations, where the server estate is not fully virtualised, or is multi-platform, composed of mixed Operating Systems and legacy infrastructure.
• Where the customer has a number of high priority servers that require Fail-Over or High Availability – but is content with a lower RTO for the balance of the server estate.
