Our clients all experience a streamlined recovery service from Covenco. Most if not all of them have had previous experieces that have persuaded them that disaster recovery services are an essential asset rather than an expense.

Customer based in Wokingham
A Covenco Customer based in Wokingham experienced a major power outage which meant that the UPS backup and automatic shut down of their systems was actioned. When power was restored to the site their IBM AS/400 failed to power up which led the Client to invoke its DR Contract. CRS DR Technicians were on site within 1 hour of the invocation call and at that point the machine had already been down for half a day.
On examination by the CRS team it was discovered that there was an error indicating that the 'license internal code was corrupt'. The CRS Technician was able to restore the 'License internal code' from SLIC and get the machine operational. This prevented the need to restore the machine from scratch and meant that the data on the machine was as current as the last transaction before the power failure brought the system down. It took the CRS team approximately 90 minutes to get the machine operational and restore normal service to it's Customers. 
The Client was obviously relieved and complemented the efforts of CRS and its Technical team.
