Covenco helps Customer overcome Citrix Server failure
CRS technicians pulled out all the stops to help one of its Customers overcome a major issue with their CITRIX Server. Although the problem was not hardware related, Covenco's team were successfully able to restore the Client's affected machine and re-establish a service for their end users. The IT Manager said "I was very impressed with the response from Covenco. This was the type of issue that was not strictly a DR problem as it was more software related, however Covenco still responded in their usual professional manner and ensured that they got our machine going again - the technical team were excellent".
Covenco invoked by Hurricane Katrina
A CRS Customer based in New Orleans invoked its Disaster Recovery policy after they were denied access to their offices on the 19th Floor of a sky scraper in New Orleans. The DR Solution which is based on Covenco providing DR equipment in London with end users connecting to the restored IBM AS/400 via VPN, was invoked on 2nd September by the Customers London based team.
Covenco responds to power outage in East Sussex
CRS were invoked by one of its Customers for a malfunctioning power supply on an IBM Midrange Server caused by a power surge to the electrical supply at the Clients site. Covenco attended the Client site with an alternative power supply and ensured that it was replaced and the system restarted and service restored to users.
